Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Solution Development: Define, create, and evolve software solutions that meet the requirements of our stakeholders.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in the implementation of software solutions.
  • Client Interface: Interface directly with senior client stakeholders, acting as a point of escalation and contact for relevant clients.
  • Project Management: Oversee and execute the implementation of software solutions within a team of engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Requirements: Translate business requirements into technical requirements and support the creation of a comprehensive backlog of Jira tasks.
  • Development Architecture: Create overarching development architecture and roadmap, as well as comprehensive, well-maintained documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Go/Golang development, with a passion for creating modern, scalable, and robust solutions using technologies such as Go (Golang), Apache Kafka, open-source relational databases like Postgres, open-source real-time data processing engines like Kafka, and cloud-based infrastructure utilizing containerization and modern development practices like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Event-Driven Philosophy: Experience interfacing autonomously with clients.
  • Business Requirements Translation: Enjoys translating business requirements into thought-through, flexible solutions and architectures.
  • Soft Skills: Strong soft skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, both written and verbal.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Language Skills: Spanish language skills are considered favorably, but not essential.
