As a PHP Symfony Engineer, your primary role will involve the development and upkeep of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver exceptional solutions that adapt to the changing demands of our clientele.
Your proficiency in Symfony and PHP will be vital in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our backend infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and enhance web applications utilizing PHP (7.x/8.x) and Symfony (preferably Symfony 4+).
- Work in tandem with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Enhance application performance and scalability to accommodate substantial transaction volumes and data.
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical challenges promptly.
- Oversee relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including crafting optimized SQL queries.
- Develop RESTful APIs.
This position offers remote work flexibility, with occasional travel for team planning sessions.
Salary:
Up to £45,000 based on experience.
