We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our organization, focusing on delivering essential services to children and their mothers in transitional housing. This role is crucial in fostering a supportive environment for families navigating challenging circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a range of trauma-informed support services for children and young individuals aged 0-16, alongside their mothers, both within the refuge and during their transition into the community.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify family needs and risks, ensuring a collaborative approach with both child and adult services.
- Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities for children, promoting their emotional and social development.
- Enhance 'Integrated Working' by collaborating with internal teams and external community partners.
