Position: SEMH Teacher (PPA Cover)

A prominent specialist educational institution focused on Autism education is in search of a committed and flexible SEN Teacher for a full-time, ongoing PPA cover position. This exceptional role involves engagement across the Secondary site and Post-16 provision.

The institution is devoted to assisting students with Autism and diverse SEMH requirements. This position necessitates an educator capable of delivering comprehensive, high-quality instruction across a wide array of subjects, including Outdoor Learning, Independence Skills, Careers, Food Technology, Humanities, Computing, and Religious Education. You will be working with students from Year 7 to Key Stage 5, including those with significant additional needs in our specialized program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and tailored lessons across multiple subjects, specifically designed to cater to the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Facilitate the development of independence and life skills, particularly within the Post-16 educational framework.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

We seek an experienced SEN educator with a profound understanding of Autism, exceptional classroom management abilities, and the capacity to inspire and motivate students with diverse learning needs.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for permanent placement in the future.
