An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lead Fire Investigation Specialist to join our esteemed team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting on-site investigations, meticulously documenting and gathering evidence, and interviewing relevant witnesses
  • Taking the lead in investigating the origin, cause, and progression of intricate cases
  • Collaborating with experts from various parties involved
  • Producing consistently high-quality, detailed, and precise technical documentation
  • Providing expert witness testimony when necessary
  • Utilizing Jensen Hughes' case management system to log all activities related to cases
  • Participating in joint examinations, leveraging specialist skills as required
  • Maintaining and enhancing technical knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development
  • Engaging in marketing initiatives
  • Creating and delivering articles or presentations for training or promotional purposes
  • Representing Jensen Hughes at meetings and conferences, serving as an ambassador for the organization
  • Mentoring developing investigators

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants should possess relevant experience and/or qualifications in fire investigation, fire safety engineering, forensic science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to apply scientific methodologies to forensic analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to travel frequently across various regions, with potential for some international travel
