We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Management Accountant to join a thriving organization in the Blackpool area. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is eager to contribute to a dynamic finance team and leverage their accounting expertise.
This esteemed company serves a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations
- Oversee the Fixed Asset Register and prepare monthly depreciation entries
- Collaborate with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller in generating monthly management accounts
- Assist with month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
- Support analysis of customer sales and cost of sales at month-end
- Handle petty cash transactions and reconciliations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA preferred; AAT qualified minimum)
- Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance-related role
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
