Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development & Sector Strategy to join our team at Locomo EV. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across our sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with our strategic objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team to achieve targeted growth and business development outcomes.
  3. Foster collaboration between practice areas, ensuring a clear understanding of sector strategies.
  4. Identify and prioritize key opportunities, prospects, and clients for business development initiatives.
  5. Lead proposals, pitches, and client presentations that effectively showcase our expertise and capabilities.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activities, and best practices within the legal sector.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance our profile and visibility.
  8. Oversee client events, seminars, and marketing initiatives to boost engagement and relationships.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in business development, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  2. Expertise in building and nurturing client relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and leading successful proposals.
  3. Proficiency in CRM systems and other essential business development tools.
  4. Experience in strategic planning and executing sector-focused business development strategies.
