Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Manager to join our dynamic team at Head Resourcing. As a key player in safeguarding our client's infrastructure, you will report directly to the Head of Security and lead efforts to assess vulnerabilities, drive remediation actions, and enforce secure configurations across the entire infrastructure.

About the Role:

As the Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of security strategies, policies, controls, services, and metrics across Infrastructure & Cloud environments. You will oversee and support vulnerability management efforts across both on-premise and cloud environments, and contribute to the strategy and execution of network security measures, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of security strategies, policies, controls, services, and metrics across Infrastructure & Cloud environments.
  • Oversee and support vulnerability management efforts across both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Contribute to the strategy and execution of network security measures, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and firewalls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in vulnerability management within infrastructure environments, with a track record of leading successful teams.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls, micro-segmentation, DDoS protection, WAF, and Network Access Control (NAC).
  • Familiarity with open-source frameworks such as OWASP, CVSS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with security products like Qualys, AlgoSec, Fortinet, Guardicore, Akamai, and Forescout.

Location: Edinburgh or London (Hybrid)
