We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Tradestech Recruitment. As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out drainage works and managing all associated Quality Assurance (QA) tasks for a project located in Cornwall.

About the Project:

This project is based in Cornwall, a region renowned for its stunning coastal scenery, charming fishing villages, and world-class surfing spots. As a Site Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and picturesque environment, with access to some of the best beaches and outdoor activities in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting Out Drainage Works: Ensure precise execution of drainage infrastructure, in line with project specifications.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Oversee and complete all necessary QA processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the site team to maintain progress, address any issues, and uphold health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in setting out drainage on similar projects, with the ability to demonstrate past successes.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to relocate to Cornwall for the duration of the project and adapt to the local environment.
