About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Experienced Psychotherapist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. This is a newly created leadership role within our Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorder and Trauma (ADAPT) Secondary Care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice as required.
  • Provision of psychological assessment, report writing and interventions across a range of client groups and interventions.
  • Manage the delivery and development of the services group programme ensuring high quality, evidence-based care is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Support the consultant clinical psychologist with managing Response To Treatment times of 18 weeks from referral to treatment.
  • Hold a clinical caseload and provide leadership opportunities such as representing ADAPT psychology at business meetings.

Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Recognised supervision training.
  • Post-doctoral training in relevant specialist areas of Clinical Psychology or CBT.
  • Leadership or management training.
Essential Requirements
  • 4 years post-qualification experience.
  • Work with Personality Disorder.
Desirable Requirements
  • Training and experience in mindfulness/DBT.
