About the Role:
The Retrofit Programme Officer will play a key role in delivering the council's ambitious strategy for council housing retrofit. This is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of sustainability and asset management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop grant applications, working with various teams to ensure the viability of each application and to develop the resulting projects into delivery.
- Support and track the progress of retrofit across the council's social housing stock, working closely with project delivery functions.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement sustainable solutions for council housing, aligning with the council's climate and ecology strategy.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to retrofit and sustainability, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
