Role Summary

What is the opportunity?

As part of RBC Europe Ltd, you will become a vital member of the Liquidity Measurement team within Corporate Treasury, located in London.

This team is tasked with the generation and dissemination of all liquidity and funding data for the organization, which includes tailored internal and mandated external reporting.

Your responsibilities will encompass delivering daily liquidity metrics to essential stakeholders and preparing monthly/quarterly submissions to the UK Regulator. It is crucial that all reporting is executed promptly, accurately, and comprehensively, with results validated against historical data and aligned with business objectives; reconciled with supporting source systems and effectively communicated to senior management.

Regular collaboration with Corporate Treasury Head Office will be necessary to ensure consistency in reporting across various locations. A thorough understanding of our business's contribution to Head Office metrics is essential for the success of local Corporate Treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regulatory and internal reporting for analytical purposes related to the liquidity measurement function.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the liquidity risk profile associated with specific products.
  • Implement new liquidity risk models and related tools.
  • Assist in communications with regulators and central banks as necessary.
  • Contribute to ALCO and LCT documentation as required.
  • Support project delivery, including user acceptance testing.
  • Help establish centers of excellence for various products.
  • Be acutely aware of the time-sensitive nature of tasks (including SLAs) and organize time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop liquidity reports and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for personal development and training.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Skills

  • Proficient data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Liquidity Reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations governing liquidity metrics in the UK and Europe.
  • Strong understanding of Secured Financing products.
  • Capability to deliver practical solutions in a demanding, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing daily priorities while achieving long-term project deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual eager to learn.
  • Ability to engage confidently and clearly with all internal stakeholders.
