Job Title: Systems and SharePoint Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and SharePoint Developer to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an integrated management system (IMS) for storage and control of all relevant documentation and information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a range of suitable SharePoint sites to support our IMS.
  • Champion document management processes and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Set up automated processes to manage document control, including review and approval, Permit to Work, Management of Change, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment, and Standards and Procedures.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to migrate new and existing documents to our IMS.
  • Assist in the production and supply of electronic and hard copy documents, promoting training to the operational team on IMS and related IT systems.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit schedules, administering associated actions and ensuring timely availability of records for audits.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement, sharing best practices with the team.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of training for the Cement GB team on SharePoint and associated systems.
Requirements:
  • Management System qualifications desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of electronic document management systems and associated processes, particularly in regulated sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern web-based technologies, including Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Excellent data management, analysis, and reporting skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • A high level of self-motivation and organisational ability, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
