We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Transformation team at Sainsbury's as an Automation Strategy Manager. This exciting opportunity will enable you to be at the forefront of driving change and growth in our business, shaping our 3-to-15-year Logistics Network and Automation agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective automation strategies to optimise operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Assess current workflows and identify areas where automation can be applied effectively, such as in supply chain management, logistics, and customer service.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of automation technologies, streamline processes, and improve overall business performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented automation solutions, making necessary adjustments and improvements to ensure continuous optimisation.
- Understanding of Network operations & process flows.
- Understanding of and experience within the logistics industry automation & digitisation.
- Understanding of logistics industry automation and digitisation developments & where it is relevant for Sainsbury's & Argos operations.
- A growth mindset.
- Demonstrable experience in advanced stakeholder management and communication.
- Experienced at nurturing and managing external third-party relationships.
- Strength in end-to-end strategic thinking, being outcome-centric & hypothesis-led.
- An interest, passion and curiosity in Automation alongside demonstrable experience.
- Well organised with experience of working within transformational change or programme management.
- Successful experience of working on shaping and implementing major Transformation projects/programmes.
