The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment at the undergraduate level across various business programs within the School of Business, Professional and Engineering. You will engage students through a variety of instructional methods, including in-person and blended learning formats for full-time, part-time, and short courses. Additionally, you will oversee the development and implementation of learning, teaching, and assessment strategies for the Business qualifications offered at the University Centre.

What We Are Looking For

Candidates should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant business field, along with a PGCE or another teaching qualification, or be willing to pursue one (to be completed within two years of appointment). A postgraduate qualification at level 7 in a relevant business discipline or an equivalent professional qualification is also required, or a commitment to achieve this within two years of appointment.

A strong understanding of current trends in the business sector and experience in contributing to teaching, learning, and assessment (whether through teaching or research) is essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills, along with the ability to produce comprehensive and analytical reports, are also necessary.
