Truck Driver

As a key member of our logistics team at MKM Building Supplies, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality service to our customers in the surrounding area. Your role will involve operating Class 2 HGV vehicles equipped with HIAB Cranes, ensuring timely and efficient multi-drop deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, using HIAB Cranes as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Assist with yard and warehouse duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

Requirements:

  • Class 2 HGV license (essential)
  • HIAB certification (essential)
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Up-to-date CPC training
  • Local knowledge of the area (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the building industry and building products (advantageous)
