Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Support Associate, you will experience a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike. This role demands quick decision-making and outstanding organizational capabilities.

As part of a logistics team, you will collaborate with the Site Management team to oversee the picking, receiving, and management of materials throughout the supply chain. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with all operational, legal, and safety procedures while engaging with internal operational stakeholders. You will be expected to manage your workload effectively to meet established timelines and objectives.

Your duties will include:
  • Acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries and requests
  • Handling all tasks related to the issuance and receipt of materials, tools, equipment, and safety signage through a warehouse management system
  • Conducting stock level verifications and managing processes for non-stock and personal protective equipment
  • Safely operating mobile plant and mechanical lifting equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and storage
  • Coordinating site waste management efforts
  • Assisting with standby/call-out arrangements and roving store responsibilities as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in distribution and warehousing preferred but not mandatory
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations, including hazard reporting and safety conversations
  • Telehandler/Combi Lift/VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) certification is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in computer use
  • Dedicated to safety and promoting a culture of safety among peers
