Site Maintenance Engineer

Barker Ross is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team in Rugby, Warwickshire. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site's machinery and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to improve plant efficiencies.
- Provide solutions to reduce costs and improve production output.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize production processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe operation of factory equipment and processes.
- Identify and report stock and spares issues.
- Develop and implement improvements to increase line and machinery efficiencies.
- Train and develop new starters and act as a role model for best practice.
- Monitor and control waste, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in maintenance for machinery and processes.
- Working knowledge of 240/415v power and distribution, control circuits, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- H&S L2 Qualification, First Aid, and Fire Marshall certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead a team of temporary labor.
- Production targets.
- Quality and H&S standards.
- Waste reduction targets.
- Production training and coaching of colleagues.
