Job Title: Heritage Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Heritage Project Coordinator to join our team at Medway Council. As a key member of our Heritage Team, you will play a central role in delivering the first phase of the Medway Heritage Place programme.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the heritage landscape, experience of collaborative partnership working with communities, and a strong track record of project coordination. You will support Medway's heritage community to shape a long-term ambition for heritage in Medway, strengthen Medway's existing heritage offer, and work with communities, groups, and organisations to develop new ideas and approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with Medway communities and groups to promote grant funding opportunities and support grant funding recipients
  • Support project administration, including project evaluation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Work with communities, groups, and organisations to develop new ideas and approaches for heritage in Medway
