About the Role

Aramark UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our team at Birmingham Metropolitan College in Sutton Coldfield campus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the retail outlet, coffee shop, grab and go, and restaurants, ensuring exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring alignment with Aramark brand standards and customer preferences
  • Manage inventory, stock flow, and rotation of products to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety legislation, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the Group Catering Manager to achieve business objectives and drive growth

  • Competitive salary up to £30,000
  • Permanent position, Monday to Friday, term time only (40 weeks per year)

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a people manager with a strong track record of leadership and team development
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
