Quicktemp, a prominent recruitment agency in the UK transport sector, is in search of dedicated and dependable Drivers who are enthusiastic about contributing to the transport and logistics industry.

We are on the lookout for skilled Class 1 Drivers (CE) to facilitate the transportation of goods across extensive distances throughout Europe. The ideal candidate will possess tramping experience along with a solid understanding of geographical routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo, with a focus on securement.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the transport coordination team.
  • Keep precise driving logs and relevant documentation.
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Class 1 CE driving.
  • Proven experience in a tramping role.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on the driving license.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per shift.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours.
  • Possession of a valid CPC and Tachograph card.
  • All driving licenses must be current and valid.

Employment Types: Permanent, Temp to Perm

Salary Range: £17.00-£21.00 per hour
