About the Role
We are seeking a Client Funds Reconciliation Associate to join our dynamic Finance team at bet365. This position is crucial in ensuring the accurate preparation and reconciliation of client funds, thereby maintaining the integrity of both customer and company accounts.
The Finance department is comprised of over 100 professionals, fostering an engaging and fast-paced work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their financial expertise while being part of an innovative and expanding team.
As a member of the central treasury team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include the preparation and reconciliation of client funds, ensuring compliance with all financial regulatory standards in a precise and timely manner.
This position will require occasional weekend work, approximately once every four weeks, as well as some bank holidays, with enhanced pay rates for these hours.
This role is eligible for our hybrid working from home policy.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- AAT Level 2 or 3 Qualification.
- Comprehensive financial knowledge, particularly in finance systems.

Main Duties
- Extracting data from payment processors and banks to support the reconciliation process.
- Importing transactions through the reconciliation application, ensuring adherence to established controls and procedures.
- Assisting the reconciliation team in generating accurate and timely reconciliations of financial data, investigating any discrepancies.
- Maintaining a record of unreconciled transactions and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to rectify accounts for a clean reconciliation.
- Managing the reconciliation mailbox to ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Providing support and coverage for other members of the client reconciliation team.
- Acquiring in-depth knowledge of company terminology and processes.
- Contributing to projects aimed at enhancing the delivery of financial information.
- Completing additional tasks as needed.
