As a key member of our Transmission Planning team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the transmission network according to agreed planning guidelines and policies on behalf of our shareholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Transmission topology design and planning
* Etherway and MW circuit planning
* Tools and systems DI resolution
* Operational performance resolution (break-fix)
* MW software upgrade support
* Live performance analysis (fault identification)
* Support for TX FOA and NPI activities

In this role, you will work closely with our Design and Operational services function to ensure projects are prioritized and collaborate with the capacity function to ensure that transmission and transport capacity requirements are identified early.

We are looking for a candidate with significant knowledge of transmission technologies, including SDH, ATM, Ethernet, and IP technology. You should have hands-on experience of transmission planning and circuit planning tools and be able to optimize capacity and performance of transmission networks.

If you have experience in a network operator or managed service provider environment and can demonstrate project delivery on time and to customer satisfaction, we would like to hear from you.
