About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our pipeline project team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the project from SL to PPP delivery responsibility, ensuring it meets client and PPP requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the structural engineering requirements for the new facility, including basis of design.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and process engineering teams to develop layouts and advise on structural design.
  • Review site data and conduct further site investigations to determine the most appropriate foundation solutions.
  • Advise on seismic requirements and develop a process to determine whether seismic design is necessary.
  • Deliver the structural engineering design of the new facility through Appraise & Select, Define, and Delivery Stages.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project.
  • Develop deliverables lists and formats, including drawings, specifications, reports, and BIM.
  • Ensure quality management and assurance of all structural engineering deliverables.
  • Manage health and safety, including designer risk assessments.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proven engineering experience with a record of successful delivery, including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel.
  • Experience working in a regulated and quality-assured system, where professional judgment is key.
  • Proficiency in using and reviewing BIM, with experience in structural engineering software.
  • Experience managing engineering processes and assets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
