About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at East Neuk Veterinary Clinic. As a key member of our veterinary nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality inpatient care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
2. Assist clients with their queries and concerns, providing excellent customer service and support.
3. Contribute to diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
4. Support our veterinary surgeons during anaesthesia procedures, maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
5. Deliver nurse consultations to clients, providing expert advice and guidance on animal care and health.
6. Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
7. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment, adhering to strict quality control measures.
8. Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and reducing stress.
9. Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Working Environment

Our clinic boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped operating theatres with advanced technology, such as Multiparameter Monitoring, DR X-Ray, and a new Siemens CT scanner. Working Pattern

This is a full-time role, with 40 hours spread across 4 days per week, including a rotating weekend schedule of 1:10. Shifts typically fall within the hours of 7:30 am to 6:30 pm / 8:00 am to 7:00 pm or 9:30 am to 8:30 pm.
