Nuclear Safety Advisor

As a Safety Case Advisor at National Nuclear Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement safety cases, ensuring that our activities adhere to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage safety cases to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide specialist safety advice to stakeholders, including operators, customers, and regulators
- Generate and maintain safety-related documentation, including hazard assessments and risk analyses
- Stay up to date with evolving safety practices and regulations
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of safety cases and their development
- Knowledge of radiation, contamination, and criticality hazards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain SC level security clearance
