Security Operations Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a Security Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing security measures, ensuring a secure atmosphere for both youth and personnel within the Commonwealth of Virginia's juvenile justice system.
Your key duties will encompass the formulation, assessment, and execution of security protocols, overseeing duty schedules, performing security audits, and directing staff activities.
Numerous openings are available, and candidates selected will be subject to a thorough background check and drug screening. Compliance with training and certifications as mandated by the juvenile justice department is essential.Essential Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a comprehensive understanding of correctional security methodologies, experience in managing security personnel, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, proficiency in conflict resolution, and familiarity with supervisory practices.
Progressive experience in correctional facilities or law enforcement, particularly in supervisory capacities, is highly valued.
