Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead their Personal Tax team in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in tax advisory and management, with a strong understanding of UK Personal Tax. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of personal tax consultancy clients, advising on a range of services, and developing a personal tax business strategy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for line managing and developing staff in the personal tax team. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and grow a varied portfolio of personal tax consultancy clients
* Advise clients on a full range of services including CGT, international tax, property tax, tax returns, trusts & estates, IHT, tax compliance and fee protection insurance
* Review more complex tax returns and computations
* Play key role in networking and marketing activities to win private client tax consultancy work
* Alongside the Personal Tax Director, create and implement a personal tax business strategy, consulting and drawing upon the expertise of the Board
* Plan and manage the work being delivered by the Personal Tax division
* Line manage and develop staff in the personal tax team

**Requirements:**

* Demonstrable experience of personal tax advisory
* Significant experience in a private client tax team
* Strong UK Personal Tax knowledge across a wide range of topics
