**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioural problems, or physical or sensory disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver RWI phonics sessions to pupils
  • Assess the individual learning needs of pupils and develop tailored educational plans
  • Positively manage challenging behaviour and create a supportive learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Supervise activities and provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement bespoke education plans that cater to the unique needs of each child

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children and delivering RWI phonics sessions
  • Ability to assess individual learning needs and develop tailored educational plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals
