Night Shift Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Electrician to join our team at First Bus Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems, including engine management, automatic/semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, and electronic destinations.
As a Night Shift Electrician, you will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that our fleet of vehicles is in top condition. You will be required to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnose faults, and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent, with proven on-the-job experience. If you are ex-military with an apprenticeship engineering qualification looking for a transition into bus and coach, we would love to hear from you.
Role specifics:
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
- Carry out vehicle servicing.
- Be fully conversant with the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems.
