Huphuphup's Ecology Team is seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team in Birmingham, London, or Manchester. As a successful multi-disciplinary consultancy, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in ecological project management, with a strong focus on renewable energy, infrastructure, and residential schemes. They will be responsible for managing ecological projects, assisting team leads with resource allocation and financial budgets, and ensuring effective communications on all projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing ecological projects, including surveying and reporting to planning authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting team leads with managing resource allocation and financial budgets.
  • Ensuring effective communications on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing ecological projects to completion and reporting to the standards required by planning authorities, Natural Resources Wales, and other similar bodies.
  • Experience of performing the role of an Ecological Clerk of Works on construction projects.
  • Experience in Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments and designing Biodiversity Net Gain solutions (desirable but not essential).
