We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher to join our partner secondary school in Whitstable, Kent. As a Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Biology curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Biology, fostering a love for the subject.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure continuous development and improvement.
- Provide additional support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and staff meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Biology or a related subject.
- Previous experience teaching Biology at secondary level (Key Stages 3-5).
- A passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
- An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
