Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled engineer to join our team as a Mission and Satellite Systems Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mission architectures, propulsion systems, and satellite subsystems for our cutting-edge space technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mission architectures and propulsion systems for ultra-low Earth orbits
  • Develop and integrate satellite subsystems, including attitude control, electronics design, structures, thermal control, flight dynamics, and other areas
  • Conduct orbit analysis, RF link analysis, mass and power budgets, redundancy planning, single-point failure studies, operations, ground segments, space environments, and satellite mechanical and electrical architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement component selection and vendor outreach strategies
  • Participate in the development and execution of major tests required to achieve space readiness
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of all satellite subsystems with a focus on mission design and systems engineering
  • Experience in building satellites or missions from scratch, ideally with experience in propulsion system integration or operation
  • Deep expertise in at least one satellite subsystem, such as attitude control, electronics design, structures, thermal control, flight dynamics, or other areas
  • Good knowledge or awareness of orbit analysis (GMAT, STK), RF link analysis, mass and power budgets, redundancy planning, single-point failure studies, operations, ground segments, space environments, and satellite mechanical and electrical architectures
  • Experience with component selection and vendor outreach
  • Familiarity with the major tests required to achieve space readiness
