About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team at The Nelson Trust Women's Centre in Swindon. As a Women's Criminal Justice Keyworker, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, supporting women involved in the criminal justice system, and delivering rehabilitative interventions to enable them to break down barriers and achieve lasting change.
You will need to demonstrate good engagement skills, working with women and developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area. Our services utilise a trauma-informed approach to engage women and address their needs holistically, including one-to-one support, outreach, and group interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage your own caseload of women involved in the criminal justice system
- Deliver rehabilitative interventions to enable women to break down barriers and achieve lasting change
- Develop effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area
- Work with women to identify and address their needs, using a trauma-informed approach
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Good engagement skills, working with women and developing effective partnerships
- A track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and its impact on women
- Ability to work in a trauma-informed way, using a holistic approach to engage women and address their needs
