About the Role
As a Senior Construction Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our high-end residential projects. Your responsibilities will encompass meticulous planning, effective communication, and hands-on management to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly site meetings, meticulously document minutes, and diligently manage the closure of action items.
- Maintain and update MS Project program schedules, ensuring timely uploads to Procore for comprehensive project tracking.
- Prepare and distribute end-of-week client photo reports, providing clear visual documentation of project progress.
- Review all architectural drawings, communicate any necessary notes, and ensure a thorough understanding of updates. Issue clarifications to site operatives as required.
- Proactively manage Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely responses and resolution.
- Meticulously record all on-site change events, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of detailing and closing snag lists, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and client satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all relevant incidents, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate any drawings without on-site measurements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Ensure the timely closure of actions within submittal processes, maintaining smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Verify that all Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are uploaded and readily accessible.
- Conduct comprehensive inductions for new personnel, ensuring a safe and informed working environment.
About You
We seek an experienced and dedicated Senior Construction Site Manager with a proven track record in managing high-end residential projects. Your expertise should encompass all facets of site operations, from planning and coordination to execution and completion.
- Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Manager on heritage or luxury residential construction projects.
- A proven ability to assume full responsibility for all aspects of site management, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
- Exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding both onsite teams and wider project stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to innovation and attention to detail.
- A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for excellence in construction management.
- Possession of key health and safety certifications, including but not limited to SMSTS, First Aid, Mental Health First Aider, Face Fit Training, Fire Marshall, and Asbestos Awareness.
- A valid full driving license.
