Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Technical Lead to join our Projects and Property Team at North Somerset Council. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to our projects and property assets, ensuring they are delivered in line with our sustainable and green ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive building advice to the Council, covering all types of property, with a focus on effective maintenance.
  • Supervise and manage repair and renewal works to the corporate property of the Council.
  • Undertake condition surveys of non-residential property and prepare plans to maintain robust programmes for ensuring property compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Support the Projects and Property Team in providing building advice on contractual liabilities, schedules of condition, and dilapidations.
  • Undertake audits and inspections of property for energy management and disability access compliance.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence and own transport, or alternative suitable method of travel.
  • Ability to work well with others, advocate for change and innovation, and put customers first.
