Job DescriptionEnglish Academic Mentor Role

Are you a highly qualified English graduate from a top UK university seeking a challenging role as an English Academic Mentor?

Ribbons & Reeves Limited is looking to collaborate with academically gifted individuals within the core subject of English to provide support to students between GCSE and A-Level, helping them achieve A*-A grades in their end-of-year exams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver academic support programs for students in English, focusing on GCSE and A-Level curricula.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one guidance and small group instruction to students, addressing specific areas of need.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of academic strategies to enhance student outcomes.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of educational resources and materials.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in English or a related field from a top UK university.
  • Proven experience in academic support, teaching, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
