About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Raglan Country Estate, a rapidly growing sustainable food destination in Wales.

As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our world-class Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our menu, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Take ownership of your station, leading by example and mentoring junior team members.
  • Contribute to the development of new seasonal menus, incorporating locally sourced and self-grown produce.
  • Play a key role in training and developing future hires, ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef De Partie in a comparable environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to maintain calm and composure during periods of high volume or unusual events.
