Job Summary:

Bond Williams is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Service Engineer to join our team. As an IT Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining customer security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security System Planning and Implementation: Design, install, and test security systems to ensure they meet customer requirements and adhere to statutory and legal regulations.
  • Network and System Maintenance: Install and maintain data network and WiFi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems and provide IT technical support to customers as needed.
  • Access Control and Security Systems: Install Access Control using Paxton systems and ensure seamless integration with existing security systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with our IT Service Delivery team to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and provide regular updates on project progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in installing and maintaining data network and WiFi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing security systems in industrial, domestic, and commercial settings.
  • Personal Qualities: A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points, willingness to work away from home for short periods, and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
