As part of our ongoing growth, Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Cost Estimation Specialist to enhance our Water Technologies division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze tender documents to evaluate project scope, associated risks, and complexity.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Site Managers, and Planners to accurately assess project deliverables and timelines.
  • Determine output and production rates to effectively gauge progress and completion, accounting for potential risks and unforeseen events.
  • Comprehend contract terms and evaluate costs related to insurances, warranties, bonds, and performance penalties.

Meetings and Site Visits:

Participate in tender price review meetings alongside the Tender Team and senior management. While primarily office-based, occasional site visits and client meetings will be required, which may necessitate travel.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
