We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide expert advice on eye care and vision correction.
- Work closely with our Dispensing Optician Manager to support the development and implementation of departmental standards.
- Participate in training and coaching to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
- Collaborate with our in-store, regional, and home office teams to ensure seamless communication and support.
- Be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Be a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
- Hold MECs or WECs accreditation (or be willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us).
- Be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
