We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Southern Construction team.

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Contract: Full Time, Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with the Commercial team, focusing on a significant project in Southampton.

Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Providing commercial insights, including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team.
  • Assisting in surpassing business targets and KPIs.
  • Preparing monthly cost/value reports for the area, along with analyzing results and trends with other contract team members.
  • Generating commercial reports and reviewing outcomes in conjunction with other contract team members.
  • Conducting physical measurements of works and reaching agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Managing certification and payment processes for subcontractor accounts, ensuring alignment with forecasts.

Qualifications and Skills:

This role is ideal for you if you possess:

  • A Full UK Drivers Licence.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
