Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of our technical department, responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and legality of our products. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to the technical department to maintain safety, quality, and legality of products.
- Working with Site Technical and Operations teams to ensure efficient production of safe and legal food.
- Carrying out internal audits and routine Food Safety inspections.
- Managing Product quality Standards, from identifying quality standards to ensuring the factory implements them.
- Arranging sample collection and despatch – Finished Product, Raw Materials and Micro.
- Managing raw materials and packaging documentation.
- Delivering continuous improvement of both product quality and standards on site.
You will be required to have knowledge of food legislation and food safety principles, as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be computer literate. You will also need to be committed to incorporating the Hovis values of Quality, Accountability, and Trust in your day-to-day functions.
