Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Director, Legal Litigation Specialist to join our client's Intellectual Property (IP) practice in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the firm's IP practice, with a particular focus on patent litigation, as well as broader contentious and non-contentious IP matters.

About the Role:

As a Director, Legal Litigation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Leading the firm's IP practice, with a particular focus on patent litigation, as well as broader contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
  2. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with an ability to generate new business and further strengthen the firm's presence in the market.
  3. Providing high-quality legal advice on a wide range of IP issues, including trademarks, patents, copyright, and design rights.
  4. Mentoring and developing junior members of the team, ensuring continuous professional growth within the department.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Substantial experience in IP law, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation, ideally at Partner or Legal Director level within a reputable law firm.
  2. A proven track record of managing complex IP matters and delivering commercially driven legal solutions.
  3. Strong business development skills with a solid network of clients and contacts.
