Job Summary:

We are seeking a punctual and reliable individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Team as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess risks associated with operating at the crossing site and report problems and defects to supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing reports on accidents and failure to stop incidents and other incidents occurring at the crossing site.
  • Ensure uniform and equipment are maintained in good condition and replacements requested when needed.
  • Give clear signals to drivers when stopping traffic and ensuring the traffic remains at rest until the road at the crossing point is clear of pedestrians.

Requirements:

  • Access to own vehicle and business insurance.
  • Ability to travel to and from crossing sites as required.
  • Driving licence and ability to meet mobility requirements of the role.
