Injection Moulding Tool Technician

Job Summary:

ASC Connections Ltd is seeking a skilled Tooling and Maintenance Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service preparation and operation of plastic injection mould tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance (TPM) and repair of plastic injection mould tools
  2. Preparation of tooling for production
  3. Assisting with new mould introduction
  4. Fault finding and identification of issues with moulds already in production
  5. Assisting with and servicing tooling within the group

Requirements:

  1. Time-served toolmaker with experience in a similar role and good knowledge of injection mould tooling
  2. Good understanding of tool design
  3. Exposure/knowledge of condition setting
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant CAD/CAM manufacturing processes
  5. Effective problem solver, able to work collaboratively

Benefits:

Up to £40,000 + £3,600 shift allowance, 15% non-contributory pension, life assurance, private medical cover, health insurance, gym membership, and a share purchase scheme.
