About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator and Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Austin Banks. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for manufacturing structural metal work, performing general maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe operation of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manufacture structural metal work for signage, assist in design and product development, and operate various equipment (guillotine, folding, rolling, welding).
  2. Perform general maintenance tasks to prevent failures, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
  3. Maintain records of maintenance activities, ensure safe operation of tools and equipment, and adhere to company safety regulations and ISO standards.
  4. Be flexible with tasks, potentially working off-site or making deliveries, and have basic plumbing, electrical, and computer skills.

Requirements:

  1. Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working within tight timescales.
  2. Should possess a level 3 F/G Mig qualification, with Tig experience preferred.
  3. Will report directly to the Operations Manager, coordinating closely on planning and work allocation.
