Procurement and Inventory Management Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement and inventory management professional to join our team at Shorterm Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the acquisition and disposal of inventory to meet business objectives and budgets.
  • Utilize available planning information and systems to effectively forecast inventory requirements.
  • Oversee a delegated section of the material supply process.
  • Action materials buying plans, BOM amendments, and performance measures for the materials team, communicating as necessary to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the open order book in conjunction with the Material Administrator.

Requirements:

  • MCIPS qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including English and Maths, HNC/HND or Degree level is desirable.
  • 2 years of experience working within a materials supply environment, preferably in an MRO or similar environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Excel.
