Job Summary

Liverpool Early Help utilises a strength-based approach to provide empowering interventions to children and families to address emerging worries and affect positive change to improve longer-term outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate support with multi-agency partners to ensure a whole family approach is taken to address identified needs.
  • Undertake early help assessments with families, create support plans, and chair team around the family meetings to review progress and identify additional areas of support.
  • Deliver targeted support to children across age ranges (0-25*) and their families to prevent the need for statutory services and ensure families access universal services.
  • Act as case holders for complex cases that step down from children's social care (level 3/2).
  • Provide intensive and targeted support to vulnerable children and young people, including bespoke packages and programmes.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience of direct work with children, young people, and their families.
  • Experience of effective collaborative and multi-agency working to support children and families.
  • Experience of delivering outreach and home-based support to children and families to address areas of identified need.
  • NVQ Level 3 in childcare and education or NND Health and Social Care qualification.
