About the Role
  • Drive large goods vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely delivery of chemicals to customers.
  • Log delivery information accurately and maintain a strong awareness of the UK highway code.
  • Work closely with the Transport Manager to ensure compliance with operating licenses, safety records, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits on equipment and maintain a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Manager to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an HGV Driver.
  • HGV Class 2 Driver qualification.
  • Chemical/ADR driver experience/license, ADR qualification.
  • Current CPC Driver card.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
